THE "BLUE DOLPHIN" HAS BEEN RESTRUCTURED IN 2008. ALL THE ROOMS HAVE THE PRIVATE BATHROOM INSIDE. (PICTURES)
The 3 rooms with private bathroom ensuite are luminous, comfortable, endowed with air conditioning/heating. They are therefore fresh in summer and warm in winter! The breakfast is included in the price; the kitchen is always to disposal.
Our B&B offers our guests, without any additional cost, the linen for the bedroom and for the bathroom; the breakfast; the rooms with air conditioning/heating and bathroom ensuite (private bathroom); hairdryer, shampoo and the bath foam.
The FARES also include transport from the bus stop in Alghero (Public Garden) to the B&B.
The Blue Dolphin is situated in a very calm mansion of two floors, IN A BUILDING COMPLETELY RESTRUCTURED IN APRIL 2008; it is in a favourable position, close to the heart of the city (10/15 minutes on walk), away from the chaotic daily traffic.
There are supermarkets nearby, one about a minute away, and a larger one about 3 minutes away.
There are also bars & cafes nearby as well as plenty enroute to the old town, or the newer touristy area near the beach.
There are maps and leaflets with information to look at too. Bus transport to other places nearby is available and there's also a good tourist information centre near the old town.
Just a few hundred meters away, the Church of “Sant'Agostino”, meeting point for the numerous pilgrims that, especially in May, in the occasion of the “mese Mariano”, go to the sanctuary of “Nostra Signora di Valverde”.
The fascinating Old Centre of the city is just 10/15 minutes on walk from the Blue Dolphin. In the Old Centre, there are restaurants, pizzerie, snack bar, caffè and others amenities.
The bed and breakfast Blue Dolphin is in Alghero, in the North Western coast of Sardinia, on the beautiful “Riviera del Corallo”.
Close the B&B there is the main street that leads to the white sand beach of Maria Pia; to the greatest beaches of the coast of Alghero the “Bombarde” and “Lazzaretto”; to the archaeological site “Complesso Nuragico di Palmavera” (the Nuragic Age is from 1500 to 1000 B.C.); to the protected area of “Porto Conte”, to the beach of “Porto Ferro”; to the natural lake “Baratz” and to the massive calcareous of “Capo Caccia”, where it is possible to visit the famous “Grotte di Nettuno”.
It is possible to quickly reach the airport and the near necropolis of “Anghelu Ruju” (approx 3000 - 1500 B.C.).
TRIPS AND DIVES
You can make a beautiful dives in the splendid waters of our beaches, and dip to discover the submerged caves of the Bay of “Porto Conte”. In alghero there are a lot of Dive Centre
You can visit the “Grotte di Nettuno”, that can be reached with the ship, and take a beautiful trip on our sea; or you can choose to reach “Capo Caccia” for visiting the “Grotte di Nettuno” (Neptune Grotto) by bus or by car, and go down for the stairway of the “Cabirol” and enjoy some panoramic and suggestive sight that only this place can give you. You can make some beautiful trips out of the city and cross the suggestive coastal road that leads to Bosa from Alghero.
There are many opportunities to visit unforgettable places in the city of Alghero and on the outskirts.
